LES (USA & Canada) 2014 Mid-year Meeting

Conversant’s Senior Vice President and Chief Licensing Officer Phillip Shaer will speak on a panel, “Trends & Opportunities in Semiconductor Licensing.” Chaired by Stefan Tamme, Vice President of IP Strategy at Rambus, panelists from the semiconductor ecosystem will discuss intellectual property licensing trends. Topics include the effects of more complex system-on-chip devices on patent and technology licensing activities, how industry consolidation impacts semiconductor companies’ IP defense and monetization strategies, the impact of shifts in global markets – such as the rise of China – on licensing activities, and synergies and tensions between licensing and product businesses. This panel will follow up on the Les Nouvelles December issue article with the same title.
